Health & Wearable Data
If you choose to connect your Google Fit account, we collect health metrics including step counts, heart rate, sleep duration, and nutrition information (calories and macros). This data is fetched only with your explicit consent.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use our services, such as the types of health questions you ask and the features you interact with. This helps us improve the relevance and accuracy of our AI.
How We Use Information
We adhere to strict data usage policies. Your information is used solely for:
- Service Provision: To create your account, manage your sessions, and maintain your chat history.
- Personalization: To tailor AI responses to your specific health profile (e.g., warning about allergens).

AI & Data Processing
AidMate utilizes advanced third-party AI models (provided via Azure/GitHub) to process your queries.
Important: While data sent to these models is encrypted, we strongly recommend that you do not submit highly sensitive personally identifiable information (such as social security numbers, credit card details, or specific medical record numbers) in your chat prompts.
Google Fit Data & Health Information
AidMate's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we handle Health Data:
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your Google Fit health data with third-party AI models for training purposes, nor do we sell this data to advertisers.
- Internal Analysis: Health data is processed solely within the AidMate application to provide you with insights, charts, and personalized AI context.
- Data Retention: You can disconnect your Google Fit account at any time, which will immediately cease data collection.
